In industry, energy sources play a very important role in helping to operate machinery and equipment, using energy for lighting systems, using energy in production or distribution of goods, etc.

Hydroelectric energy

Currently, this is one of the most commonly used energy sources in Vietnam. For the world, hydroelectricity is also one of the most popular types of energy, accounting for 22% of the total energy used worldwide. Hydroelectricity is generated by the potential energy of water to drive the turbines of generators. The construction of hydropower plants will be greatly influenced by environmental and geographical factors.

Hydroelectricity can be used in all industries. Especially the manufacturing industry requires extremely large amounts of electricity such as aluminum (Al) production. Compared with fossil fuels, hydropower significantly saves costs for fuel, labor and creates less negative impact on the environment.

Nuclear energy

As a power source for high efficiency, creating an independent power source, almost independent of geographical location or natural conditions. The yield and supply capacity of nuclear energy is suitable for applications in industries including those with huge demand for electricity and energy consumption.

However, nuclear power requires a high level of technology and high risk in the event of an accident. As a result, in many places, the use of nuclear energy is discouraged, or restricted by many barriers.

Recycled energy

Renewable energy, also known as clean energy, refers to the types of energy created by continuous and infinite sources such as energy from the sun, geothermal, wind, tides, etc. Today, the problems of As the environment is becoming more and more serious, most countries around the world encourage industries to gradually shift the use of limited, fossil fuel sources to renewable energy sources.

Wind energy

Is a source of energy created from kinetic energy due to air currents moving through the atmosphere. The wind blows very regularly, so this can be considered a constant source of energy for turbines used to operate some types of machinery or produce electricity. Currently, wind energy is widely used in industry in European countries, the United States and India.

Geothermal energy

This is energy taken from the center of the Earth. It is mined and used in both electricity and heat. In countries like France, the US, Ireland, Japan, Greece, Italy, etc., the exploitation and use of this energy source is being encouraged and replicated.
